Complaints

TPE strives to provide the best possible service to its clients. If you are not satisfied with TPE’s services let us know by addressing your complaint to us by email or phone. TPE will acknowledge your complaint in writing by email no later than 10 working days after receipt. If TPE cannot treat your complaint within 10 business days, you will be informed. TPE will always try to resolve your complaint at the earliest possible stage, and TPE will send its final response to you in writing within 8 weeks of receipt of your complaint. TPE will keep you informed of its progress and measures taken to resolve your complaint.

If your complaint concerns the provision of a service by another firm such as an insurer, or the failure to provide a service by another firm such as an insurer, TPE will promptly refer your complaint in writing to the relevant firm. TPE will provide you with the full contact details for the other firm and if TPE considers the other firm to be solely responsible, TPE will inform you accordingly in a final response.

Your right as a client to take legal action remains unaffected by the existence of our complaints procedure.

 Complaints must be made in writing to TPE under penalty of loss of law within 6 months after the grounds of the complaint to you have become known or should have been known. A complaint does not suspend your payment obligation.

KZ529 BV is registered with the Autoriteit Financiële Markten under number 12047608 and has a licence to mediate and advise businesses and private individuals on non-life insurance as an insurance broker. TPE is registered with KIFID, number 300.017881.

KZ529 BV has insured its professional liability risk in accordance with the obligatory clauses of the “Wet op het Financieel Toezicht”, the “Uitvoeringsregeling Wet Financieel Toezicht” and the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/1935 of 13 May 2019 amending Directive (EU) 2016/97. Any liability of KZ529 BV is limited to the amount paid out under its professional liability insurance policy, increased by the amount of a deductible imposed by the Insurer.
